The philosophy for the project came from two directions, one, recognising the potential within the constraints of the project deriving an energy driven by the desire to capitalise on the potential that this long, skinny site held hidden within.

And secondly, an ongoing dialogue within the office that comes from an understanding of materials and building methods as well as an exploration of the notion of ambiguity within architecture.
