With 22 years of architecture experience, 18 of those running his own successful Melbourne practice, Darren is known for his highly refined and sensitive designs. Driven by detail, he is passionate about problem solving, floor planning, the efficient use of space, and documentation. 

A proven track record with council approvals and return clients, Darren’s professional experience focuses on high-end residential projects, with a particular interest in heritage adaptation and sustainable housing.

Projects that came to him led him on a specialised path in creatively resolving challenging sites; he authored and illustrated a book on this topic.

Darren’s love of working with his hands, has seen him pursue another passion for fine furniture making. With industry qualifications in this area, he recently established his own furniture design and making business.
